Revenue Cycle Clerk - Business Office
The Revenue Cycle Clerk is responsible for the timely, accurate collection of all patient registration activities. Registration of all patient types and services. The Registration Representative will be responsible for the daily activities of the registration/pre-admission process to include, but not limited to: conduct patient interviews to obtain correct and current demographic data; verification of insurance information; payment collection; prepare & supply required information to various departments as required. The Revenue Cycle Clerk, either by reviewing the insurance card &/or phoning the insurance company, will determine the patient’s co-pay &/or deductible; will be responsible for obtaining prior authorization/pre-certification if necessary. It is also the responsibility of the registration professional to handle routine inquiries and direct patients/families to the appropriate area for service/treatment. Additional Information Position Type : Part Time Shift : Day Hourly Wage: $16.00 - $18.00 per/hour
