RN - Med-Surg
1. Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.
2. Initiates and implements patient care plan.
3. Makes nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees.
4. Maintains acceptable standards of patient care.
5. Identifies problems and guides personnel to their solution.
6. Accurately and promptly implements physicians orders.
7. Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly.
8. Maintains the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting.
9. Arranges to have needed supplies and equipment on hand.
10. Participates in planning changes and improvements.
11. Maintains a professional approach with confidentiality.
12. Cooperates and maintains good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other departments,

Must be a graduate of a state approved RN program. Must be currently licensed in the State of Oklahoma as an RN. Should have good physical and mental health, retain emotional stability in situations of varying circumstances and exhibit flexibility for various duties. Must be able to withstand eight (8) to twelve (12) hours of physical activity, walking, bending, lifting, etc. Must have a current healthcare provider ACLS and PALS certification for emergency room care.
