RN Surgical Circulator - Surgery
Must be able to rotate through Pre-Op, PACU, Recovery Room.
Report to Surgery Manager, interacts with OR staff, including CRNA, Surgeon, fellow nurses, pharmacy, patient's family members.
Performs circulating nurse duties, pre-op, PACU nurse duties, and all other duties as assigned.
Supervises, tests and is familiar with the use of equipment in the operating room.
Assist with planning, implementing and evaluation of the surgical patient care.
Carries our pre-operative orders on outpatients arriving for surgery or endoscopy.
Recovers post-op patients according to the Routine Recovery Room protocol.
Performs other general duties as needed by the surgeon or the patient.
Gives IV sedation while monitoring patients during endoscopic procedures.
Must be a graduate of a state approved school of nursing, and licensed in Oklahoma as a registered nurse.
Must be able to withstand 8-12 hours of physical activity, walking, bending, lifting, etc.
Should have working knowledge of an operating room and current nursing skills.
