Prepares and cooks for patients, residents, and employees of institutions by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
In addition to the duties and responsibilities that are specific to the position, the following represent the minimum criteria with which a Dietary Cook must comply:
1. Cooks food in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
2. Uses equipment such as mixer, ovens, range, blender, food processor, microwave, and steam table. Washes dishes and uses dish machine.
3. Prepares meat, main dishes, soups, vegetables and gravies.
4. Serves meals.
